About Carol

Carol Shaw MacLennan HTHS Class of 1970.

Carol grew up in the West Collingswood Heights section of Haddon Township attending Jennings elementary school and graduated from HTHS in 1970. She worked in her family printing business in Haddonfield while attending Camden County College until the business merged with another local printer in the mid '80s. She continued to work there part time while pursuing a new career teaching tennis.

In 1997, Carol was certified as a tennis teaching professional by the PTR (Professional Tennis Registry.) She continues to teach tennis, run events and tournaments and is the Director of Tennis at Laurel Creek Country Club. She is also a staff pro at Cherry Hill Health and Racquet Club. She is an active member of the United States Tennis Association New Jersey district council serving as president in 2013-14 and is a member of the Class of '70 reunion committee.

When not working, she enjoys playing tennis socially and competitively. She and her husband enjoyed 40 years of boating on the Chesapeake Bay.
